Some of my earliest memories were baking with my mother, and some of my favorite memories were teaching my son those same recipes. Baking isn't quite a science; maybe closer to an art, I'm not sure, but I am certain it requires heart. There is something to be said for the tasks we give more energy than is necessary. Any bakery can put out a baked good, maximize profits, minimize costs, and still make it taste good. But it can never beat the homemade treat. black Moon oven is a cottage bakery with original home recipes and mindful ingredients, certified organic where possible, and handmade at every step.

We are always trying new flavors and only bake in season. Whatever is abundant and fresh comes first; we will always have our staples, but we love to experiment. Many of our products can't be found anywhere else because it would be impossible to mass-produce with the same quality and taste.
